The Dressing Room Fashion News

New Season, new collections, new floor layout!

Last week we transformed the shop floor into a heaven of new season collections that are perfect for wearing right now and will work right through to Summer with just a few subtle styling changes.  With everything from neon knitwear to printed blouses and an array of brand new colours from  American Vintage there is something for everyone in the new collections.

Talking of new season American Vintage, look at all the pretty colours that have just arrived?! It’s always one of our most favourite deliveries to open as it’s like unleashing a rainbow on the shop floor. With everything from neon’s to pastel’s there is literally an American Vintage piece to go with everything.

And if that wasn’t enough colour for you, check out these stunning new styles from Tokyo Jane. We have fallen in love with the new collection from this amazing accessory brand and can’t wait to get stacking our bangles with our new season purchases.

We also have a few new brands at The Dressing Room for Spring / Summer and one of those includes this fabulous knitwear brand Skull Cashmere. These pieces have been flying out since they hit the shop floor and will be online shortly.  If you can’t wait, give us a call on 01727853577 to order yours! Hurry though as they won’t be around for much longer…

Not up for injecting some neon into your wardrobe quite yet?! Well not to worry, why not try adding a pop of red or nude to your dark wash denim? Try wearing a printed scarf or a subtle contrasting tank under your pretty knitwear and blouses to ease your look stylishly into Spring.

These J Brand Chino’s are a great alternative to jeans and can be worn all year round. We love how they look with this gorgeous Twist & Tango knit and a pair of H By Hudson ankle boots, why not try these Horrigan Boots in Blush from the new collection.

Pastels is a key trend for SS14.  This Great Plains Blouse, Becksondergaard scarf and J Brand Boyfriend jeans all work really well together and we adore the crystal embellishment on the front panel of these jeans giving them a super cool shine.

This 2nd DAY Jacket is a personal favourite of mine. I love the Aztec embroidery and asymmetric zipper, the perfect transitional piece you can wear time and time again.

As you are all aware we’re big fans of Becksondergaard and never leave the house without one on. So it’s no wonder that we have fallen head over heels for the amazing new SS14 collection. From neon animal print to subtle geometric patterns, they are the perfect accessory for adding a splash of colour and print to your look as we step into Spring.

Maison Scotch also has some fantastic printed pieces this season, like this feminine blue and white floral blouse. So if you haven’t already checked them out make sure you do as they are not to be missed!!!

One of Deryane’s key pieces for this season is this fabulous Great Plains Leopard Print Mac. Light weight and complete with hood it’s ideal for covering up on those spring afternoons. If you’re going to get wet, make sure you do it in style we say!!!

Light weight knits and cool sweats are wardrobe esstentials for Spring.  This 2nd Day Dope Printed Jumper is one of our favourites and looks great with a pair of  skinny jeans and a chunky stack of Tokyo Jane Bangles.

Mix and match your prints for a quirky weekend look. We love this combination of stripes and leopard print and it’s perfect if you’re not feeling to experimental as the similar colour hues make them really easy to wear together.

So what do you think? Any favourite pieces or collections? Make sure you pop in and see us soon for a trying on session or  if you have already been in recently be sure to come back soon as the stock room is getting mighty full again….
