How would you sum up Swedish fashion in a sentence?
Despite being aggressively fashion and trend-conscious, Swedes have a very practical approach to clothes. Pure clean and simple.
Do you have any favourite Swedish Designers?
Part from our own design I love Lovisa Burfit and 5th avenue shoerepair.
What are your favourite shops to visit in Sweden (fashion, interior, food)?
Sweden is full of fantastic shops in different parts and cities. In Gothenburg where our head office is located you have For interior; Artilleriet, Market 29. For Food you have to visit Barabicu, amazing restaurant. Bakery: Alvar & Ivar ; Sourdough Bakery is a small neighbourhood bakery in Linnéstaden. They bake Requirements marked sourdough bread of locally produced flour, and some sweets like cakes and biscuits. For Music: Other Long Way Skivhandel is Gothenburg’s largest second hand store for music and film. Here you’ll lose yourself easily a few hours in a huge and well-stocked selection of vinyl, CD, DVD, blu-ray and turntables. For Fashion; NK, Grandpa, Tara, Grace all these are life style shops with a mix of contemporary brands to high end brands. In Stockholm the range of stores is a lot bigger. One of my favourites spots are the MOOD gallery, which also have one of the best restaurants in town. Bouqeria.
What do you think makes Scandinavian style different to any other and what do you love about it?
Scandinavian is pure and Simple and that is also what I love most about it.
Do you have any Scandi style icons you can share with us?
I have..J Maja Ivarsson she is an artist and a true fashion icon. She is Rock chick and she is always well dressed for any occasion.
Do you have any favourite places to visit in Sweden that you suggest our readers to go if they were to take a trip over there?
Than I Have to recommend Torekov in south of Sweden where we have our summer house, this place together with the whole archipelago at the west coast is a must when you travel to Sweden.
Are there any Swedish dishes you think our readers must try?
Meatballs with mashed potatoes and lingonberryjam – Yummie!

Can you give our readers your top 5 things to do in Sweden?
I give you one unique thing to do in the spring time; Once a year in April many artists in Skåne (South of Sweden) arrange a so-called art round, it is absolutely stunning. You get to experience the wonderful scenery and even take part of amazing art. Check it out at konstrundan.se
Where does your inspiration come from for your designs?
Our designer Emelie always has our core values with her in her design. Which is Fun, Simple, Feminine and Personal. Together with this she is inspired by travelling and all beautiful surroundings around her. Twist & Tango is a personal brand with a timeless approach to modern style based on simplicity, the perfect fit, high quality and competitive pricing.
We have seen some images of your concept stores, they are gorgeous! Where has your inspiration come from for these at the moment?
It is from our core values together with an amazing interior artist who has completed the look.
What can we expect from Twist & Tango for the coming year?
You can expect amazing collections and a new line that will come up for 2014.
What are your must have and wear pieces from the AW13 collection?
The wide pant together with the bomber jacket in wool.
How does Scandinavian style influence your designs?
Even if we are Swedish we are a progressive international fashion brand with an timeless and effortless fashion to any occasion. We are very proud of being a part of Scandinavia and it influences us daily.
