Our Christmas Event was crazy!!!

Wow! Our Christmas Event on Sunday was definately a great way to start your Christmas Shopping! With people queuing outside before we opened,the race to get the best items and one of those all important Goody bags was on!!!

The day had a really festive feel, with people buying gifts, eating mince pies and drinking lots of Mokokos gorgeous Christmas themed Cocktails!

Drapers Award Winners!

 

Wow!!!! We are extremely proud to tell you that we won the Drapers Award for Womenswear Retailer of the Year last night!

It was an amazing evening, with lots of big names in the fashion industry attending. We were so happy to be in the finals so when we won it was just the icing on the cake!-a fantastic reward for all of our hard work to make the Dressing Room the best it can be!

The Editor of Drapers magazine said she was ‘blown away’ by the store and impressed by our attention to detail in all areas from the shop floor to the integral work behind the scenes. We are all still beaming with pride and have our gorgeous black glittery trophy on display in the store!

We would also like to say a big thank you to all of our loyal customers, who helped us to achieve this!

Drapers Awards Tonight!!

We are very proud to be finalists in the catagory for ‘Best Womenswear Retialer of the Year’ at the 2009 Drapers Awards , which are taking place tonight. Obviously with such an exciting event coming up all talk here for the past week  (well actually the past few weeks!) has of course been based around that all important decision- what are we going to wear?!!!!!

Well the day is now here, so decisions have had to be made and we thought we’d share some of our outfit picks for the night with you!

Deryane has decided to wear this beautiful dress from Day Birger et Mikkelsen, which looks amazing on her! She is accessorizing it with her Fiona Paxton Cuff and her lovely new Toywatch which sets the outfit off perfectly!

To keep the cold off she has teamed the dress up with a very on trend Tux jacket(they are not on the website but only a few left in store so get in whilst you can if you want one!) and Voila!-Her outfit is ready, and I’m sure she’ll look the Bell of the Ball!

I have decided to wear this gorgeous Antik batik dress with my Gina shoes (had to get a bit of bling in there-as always!),lots of spangly jewellery and one of the bright pink Makki clutch bags, to add a flash of colour. So excited, just can’t wait to get there now!

Suzy and Lorran both have amazing outfits too and we are all looking forward to going and celebrating getting to the finals of these prestigious awards! We will let you know how it all went later on in the week!
